Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Concept Mode, available at https://conceptmode.io (the "Service"), operated by Concept Mode ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that any information you provide is accurate.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

You agree not to share your account, resell access, or use the Service on behalf of anyone else without a written agreement with us.

Concept Mode offers a free tier and paid subscription tiers (Starter and Professional). Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor, Stripe. Pricing is displayed on the pricing page and may change with reasonable notice.

By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method for the subscription fee and any applicable taxes on each billing cycle until you cancel.

You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you will retain access until then. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial periods except where required by law.

If a payment fails, we may suspend your access to paid features until the payment is resolved.

We offer refunds within 7 days of the initial subscription purchase if you have not made substantial use of the paid content (defined as completing more than one paid module). To request a refund, email hello@conceptmode.io.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial learning.

All content on the Service — including text, videos, code samples, diagrams, and design — is owned by Concept Mode or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, redistribute, publicly display, or create derivative works from the content without our written permission.

You may use code snippets and small examples in your own projects. You may not republish the curriculum, in whole or in part, as your own material.

You agree not to: (a) reverse engineer, scrape, or automate access to the Service; (b) circumvent access controls or share paid content with non-subscribers; (c) upload harmful, illegal, or infringing content; (d) attempt to disrupt the Service or gain unauthorised access; (e) use the Service to violate any applicable law.

Completion badges and certificates issued by the Service acknowledge that you completed the corresponding content. They are not accredited qualifications, do not represent formal education, and confer no legal or professional certification.

The Service integrates with third-party providers (e.g., Stripe for payments, Cloudflare and Supabase for infrastructure). Your use of those services is subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific learning outcome will result.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Concept Mode and its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 100.

You agree to indemnify and hold Concept Mode harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. You may terminate your account at any time from settings.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution) will survive.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in the United States, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights as a consumer under the laws of your country of residence.
